Watermelon Slices

It’s National Watermelon Day! Yes, the 3rd of august is a day dedicated to that delicious mouth-watering fruit that is the watermelon!

Celebrating national watermelon day is simple and easy. You simply start by eating watermelon. Seems easy enough, but what if it isn’t?

Watermelons are big and watery, they are difficult to carry and cut and it’s a lot of hassle, even if it’s for that sweet delicious hit of perfect watermelon flavour.

If only there was a way to get that amazing huge watermen flavour in a small and simply bite. Perhaps, a watermelon jelly bean would be a better fit?

What is A Watermelon?

Watermelon is a large, sweet, juicy fruit. It is originally from South America but now it’s grown all over the globe. The watermelon is known for its high water content hence the name watermelon.

Watermelons are extremely healthy, they are high in nutrients and have very few calories making them the perfect healthy, refreshing snack.

Watermelons however are very very big and difficult to manage. In fact, if you’ve ever seen the film dirty dancing, you’ll know it takes two hands to carry a watermelon. If you can’t carry a watermelon or there is no way you ever eat a full one, but still want that sweet juicy refreshing watermelon taste, then The Jelly Bean Factory might just have the perfect solution.

Our watermelon flavoured gourmet jelly bean is perfect for anyone who loves the tangly refreshing taste of watermelon but hates the hassle and mess that come with preparing one.

We even made out little watermelon flavour jelly bean look like a little watermelon. We are proud of all our jelly beans, but we are especially proud of the vibrant striking green shiny shell on our gourmet watermelon flavoured jelly beans.

Unlike most jelly beans, we add flavour to both the outer crunchy sugar shell and the sweet jelly centre so that when you bite into a Jelly Bean Factory gourmet jelly bean you get double the hit of that amazing huge flavour.

And it’s not just fruit we use. Sure we all love the zesty, tantalising tingle of a fruit flavoured jelly bean on our tongue, but here at The Jelly Bean Factory, we’re all about discovering amazing and unique flavours.

Can Anyone Eat The Watermelon Jelly Beans?

We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy our delicious gourmet jelly beans. That’s why we use an innovative starch based gelatine in our jelly beans. By eliminating the use of substances like gelatine pork products and wheat, we can safely say that all of our products are vegetarian, gluten-free, halal and kosher!

They are also free from all 14 EU Allergens (Gluten, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Celery, Mustard, Eggs, Milk, Sesame, Fish, Crustaceans, Molluscs, Soya, Sulphite and Lupin) and contain no harmful chemicals or unnecessary E-numbers.

Unfortunately, our gourmet jelly beans are not suitable for vegans. We use something called shellac, which is extracted from beetles and beeswax which is produced by bees. We try to extract these products in the safest way possible but we cannot confirm the insects would not be hurt in the process. For that reason our jelly beans are not classed as vegan.
